Medical knowledge is constantly evolving, and information may become outdated.

The information obtained from this app is not medical advice. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.

6. Medications: Doses, Interactions, and Routes
Any information regarding dosages, drug interactions, or routes of administration—including off-label or non-traditional routes common in palliative care and hospice—is provided for illustrative and educational purposes only. This app is not a clinical dosing calculator. All clinical calculations, medication routes, and titration adjustments must be independently verified by a licensed healthcare professional against the specific physician’s order and institutional safety protocols before administration.

All content within the myHospice Companion app — including but not limited to text, drug data, clinical guidance, educational materials, software code, design, graphics, logos, and the “myHospice Companion” and “Yellow Leaf Consulting” names — is the exclusive property of Yellow Leaf Consulting, LLC and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. All rights reserved.
You may not, without prior written consent from Yellow Leaf Consulting: (a) copy, reproduce, redistribute, or republish any portion of the content; (b) reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code or encrypted content; (c) modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on the app or its content; (d) circumvent any technical protection measures, including content encryption or screen-capture restrictions; or (e) transcribe, photograph, or otherwise reproduce content for redistribution outside the app.
Use of the app’s content within the normal course of clinical care for the patient or caregiver who installed it is permitted and encouraged. Any feedback or suggestions you submit through the app are non-confidential and may be used by Yellow Leaf Consulting without restriction or compensation.
Yellow Leaf Consulting reserves the right to seek injunctive relief, in addition to any other available remedies, in the event of unauthorized use or infringement.

This app is intended for use by adults (18 years or older) or by minors under the direct supervision of a parent, guardian, or healthcare professional.
13. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of the app shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the State of Florida, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
14. Sources & Attribution
Educational content is based on established clinical guidelines and peer-reviewed palliative literature. All drug data is intended for reference and is not a substitute for official manufacturer labeling or licensed drug databases.
15. Severability & Entire Agreement
This document constitutes the entire agreement regarding app use. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.

Your privacy is very important to us. The myHospice Companion app is built to provide education and support. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
2. Zero-Data Collection & Offline Privacy
The myHospice Companion app is built on an offline-first, zero-trust architecture. Yellow Leaf Consulting does not collect, track, or store any usage data, analytics, telemetry, or crash reports. No information regarding how you use the app ever leaves your device.
3. Health Data & Local Storage
All educational content is stored locally on your device. Yellow Leaf Consulting does not collect or store private health records or Protected Health Information (PHI), and we have no access to your clinical conversations or care decisions. We use industry-standard encryption (AES-256) to protect the clinical content on your device, ensuring that the information remains private and under your total control.
4. How We Improve the App
Because we collect no usage information, all improvements to the myHospice Companion app are based on direct user feedback (submitted voluntarily through the in-app feedback option) and on guidance from our clinical team and licensed pharmacists. Updates are delivered through standard App Store and Google Play software updates.
5. Sharing Your Information
Yellow Leaf Consulting does not sell, trade, or rent your information to third parties. We only share information if required by law to comply with a judicial proceeding or legal process.
6. Security
We use industry-standard safety measures to keep the app secure. However, no digital platform is 100% perfect. We encourage you to keep your mobile device password-protected to secure your local data.
